Acceptable Internet Usage Policy

This Acceptable Internet Usage Policy outlines the terms and conditions for using the services provided by Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited, trading under the brand name AirVoice. By using our services, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines. Please read them carefully, and if you do not agree, refrain from using our services.
Terms and Conditions
1. Legal Compliance:
– The customer shall fully comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the provisions of the Indian Telegraph Act 1885, the Indian Telegraphs Rules 1985, and TRAI Act 1997.
2. Use of Service:
– The services provided by Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited should not be used for voice communication, reselling, or any activity that violates laws, regulations, or terms mentioned herein.
3. Encryption:
– The use of encryption is permitted up to a 40-bit key length. Higher encryption requires permission from the Telecom Authority.
4. Blocking of Sites:
– Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited reserves the right to block internet sites and terminate services based on directives from the Telecom Authority.
5. Logging and Monitoring:
– Customers must maintain logs of all users and activities. Logs and packet copies must be available in real-time to the Telecom Authority.
6. Warranty and Liability:
– Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited provides no express or implied warranties. The company and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from the use of the service.
7. Content Responsibility:
– Customers are responsible for ensuring objectionable, obscene, or infringing content is not transmitted through their network.
8. Anti-National Activities:
– The use of the service for anti-national activities or unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited.
9. Blacklisting:
– Behavior causing blacklisting must be remedied within 48 hours of notice from Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited.
10. Cooperation with Authorities:
– Customers must provide necessary support to Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited, TRAI, DOT, or any other Government Agencies to counteract unlawful activities.
11. Service Disconnection:
– Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited reserves the right to disconnect the service if evidence suggests intentional or unintentional misuse impacting its network.
12. Modification of Terms:
– Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited may modify these terms and conditions as necessary, and customers agree to abide by such changes.
13. Dispute Resolution:
– Any dispute shall be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. The venue of arbitration shall be Chennai.
14. Security of Data:
– Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited assumes no responsibility or liability for the security and integrity of data transmitted via the service.
15. Customer Responsibility:
– The customer is responsible for all activities conducted through the service, and Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited assumes no liability for customer actions.
By using the services of Orbitedge Broadband Private Limited, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in service termination. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue the use of our services.
